Built around 1459 by Rao Jodha, Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India and is situated at 410 feet (125 m) above sea level. Upon arrival at the Fort, guests indulge in the traditional safa and chunri tying activities over refreshing beverages. The Fort doors open to a grand welcome procession consisting of "Dhol Thali" "Kachi Ghodi", mashaal men and Jama guards.
