Jallianwala Bagh
Open :6.30AM-7.30PM
This park, near the Golden Temple, is a poignant memorial to the many lives lost when a British officer and the soldiers under his command opened fire on the peaceful protestors that had gathered here in 1919. An eternal flame burns here in memoriam, and you can still see some bullet holes in the walls symbolic of this very tragic incident. An exhibit that tells the story of that day is not to be missed.
