- Foreign nationals can visit Tsongmo Lake but are restricted from visiting Nathula Pass.
- A guide is mandatory for foreign nationals and will be available on a paid basis.
- Permits must be applied for at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to government approval.
- Entry tickets to certain monuments will incur an additional charge and must be purchased directly by guests.
- Timings are subject to traffic conditions and breaks taken by guests.
- Things to carry with you:
- Comfortable walking shoes for exploring various locations
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect against the sun
- A valid photo ID (other than Aadhaar card) and passport-size photographs are required for permit applications.
- A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the tour
- A small backpack for carrying personal belongings .
