WALK WITH PARDHI
Description :
The Pardhi community derives its name from their roots to the hinterland as hunters. They have ancestral knowledge of the landscape which was used for hunting animals. Through a Paathya initiative by Pashan Garh, community youngsters, both boys and girls, have been trained to become nature guides, using their skills to show travellers the wonders of the jungle. The walk is conducted along a spectacular gorge and is home to tigers, leopards, jungle cats, rusty spotted cats, sloth bears and more than 250 species of birds including migratory and resident species.
