A well like no other, filled with legends. Step into stories. A mythical almost magical step well that descends 5 storeys into intricate architecture(a fusion of the Hindus Solanki style and Islamic influences)' cravings and platforms. The construction was initiated by King Rana Veer Singh, followed by his queen Rani Roopaba, and finished in a twist of fate by their adversary, the Muslim ruler Medhmud Begada. They were storehouses of water, venues for festivals and rituals and sheltered travelers.

Sabarmati Museum
In memory of the Mahatma, the father of the nation and Gandhian ideology. On the banks of the river Sabarmati, stands the Gandhi Ashram or rather the Satyagraha Ashram as he preferred it. This became both - the residence of Mahatma Gandhi as also the cradle for India's national freedom movement. This is the iconic address from where the famous 1930 salt march of Dandi started. Today it houses archival materials, personal effects, organizes exhibitions that showcases the Gandhian way of life and his ideology.
