The perfect coastal ambience - thatched-roof gazebos overlooking the sea surrounded by swaying palms – sets the tone for unforgettable meals at our seafood specialty restaurant. Blessed by Kovalam’s fresh-off-the-boat daily catch, the restaurant showcases an enviable line-up of snapper, kingfish, mackerel, prawns, lobster and squid, expertly featured in Continental and Indian favourites by our chefs. While grilled seafood lashed with lemon and a side of wasabi mayonnaise or batter-fried anchovies with several pints of beer remain all-season hits, the kitchen specializes in the refined and spicy, world-famous Chettinad cuisine of Tamil Nadu. These distinctive dishes use South Indian spices like kalpasi (black stone) and the rotund goondu milagi (dry, red chilly). Pair the exceptional curries with idiyappam (string hoppers) and steamed local ponni rice tempered with curry leaves and gunpowder, for a gourmet experience that’ll draw you back repeatedly.
