Sheroy's career has spanned almost 30 years and he lives and breathes the Taj brand through and through. From starting his career as a Trainee Chef at The Taj President Hotel in Mumbai and working at many other Taj hotels around the world, he has gained experience in different ingredients, dishes, cultures and hotels worldwide that gives him a unique advantage.
His key achievements are many, but some highlights include launching a New Brand of the Taj Group in Bangalore under the banner of “Vivanta”, setting culinary standards for other Vivanta’s to be opened within the group. He was also a vital and successful team member throughout the opening team of the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Mauritius. His first position as Executive Chef was held at the beautiful Blue Sydney- a Taj Business Hotel in Sydney, Australia
This is Sheroy’s second stint in Maldives with Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, earlier he had an extremely successful seven years as the Executive Chef and then moved to London for 2 years as an Executive Chef for St. James Court and Taj 51 Buckingham Gate.
Sheroy says that he’s happy to be back home, his time in London has given him a fresher perspective and is looking forward to bringing some fresh ideas to the table.
