House of Ming

With novel and familiar flavours, an inspired design, and sincere, warm service for a sophisticated and contemporary dining experience, House of Ming is set to offer diners in London an unforgettable experience inspired by Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine. From the kitchens of ancient China to London comes the legendary journey of Ming cuisine. A journey that imparted culture, cuisine, and the intricacies of the Ming dynasty across the ever-expanding trade routes.

Paired with the iconic hospitality of the Taj, the House of Ming bring rich culture, history and most importantly, cuisine fron across China to the shores of London.

Apart from the cuisine, the Ming nobility also brought botanicals to China, and the restaurant comes alive with intrinsically designed gingko leaves, a sacred concept of yin and yang symbolising longevity and vitality.

The interior of House of Ming was conceived by award-winning designers Atelier Wren, the design incorporates subtle elements of Chinese aesthetics.

The restaurant has a stunning blend of green hues and lush red Lacquer, which are complemented by antique brass finishings and bespoke furniture with custom Celadon Ceramics and handmade artworks by Jacky Puzey.

Come, be part of the story. Come to be part of the story at the House of Ming.
