Rambagh Palace welcomes guests to experience the tastes of Asia at “The Oriental”. The guests can relish the Pan Asian delicacies at one of the favourite corners of the famous Royal Couple - Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his wife, Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur. The venue itself holds a significant history as it consists of the rare and unique artefacts from China that were once collected by the Royal couple. The collection includes some of the most peculiar and inimitable artefacts and tapestries from the Ming Dynasty. The famous silk thread tapestry is the highlight of this designated room. The Oriental unveils its fresh and traditional menu to provide an authentic and regal experience to guests. Some of the signature dishes include, The Oriental Chilean Sea Bass, Khao Pad-Je and Broccoli and Cheese Wonton . One can luxuriate in royalty and dive in the tastes of Pan Asia through the dishes cooked with par excellence.

In 30 years of culinary experience and preparing the most unique and delicious dishes at Taj hotels Executive Chef Asish Kumar Roy  served  Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at Raj Bhavan, Jaipur in 2012, Ms. Hillary Clinton, Russell Brand, Oprah Winfrey, Paul Allen, Nancy Novgorod, Amitabh Bachchan, Hollywood star Brooke Shields, Michael Douglas and  Honourable Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Kamla Persad-Bissessar are some of the many .  Due to his finesse and passion he was also awarded “Silver Hat Chef” Award by the Indian Culinary Forum in 2008, the prestigious National Tourism Award for the Best Chef for 4, 5, 5 Star Deluxe Category and Heritage (Classic & Grand) category in 2016-17 and  Best Chef award from FICCI Travel & Tourism Excellence Awards 2019.
