Excellent Property, Taj Service and Staff
Taj Ambad Nashik should be upgraded to a Resort property. It has huge garden space, indoor & outdoor games facilities, good swimming pool, lots for children & families to enjoy safely. The property has lots of places nearby to go to for short outings like Trimbkeshwar, Sula Wines, Nashik city tour and even Shirdi. By upgrading it to Restort Catogery, you can charge higher, but will need to sell/market the property aggressively. We travel frequently but didn't see Taj Nashik as a push marketing ever. Over all food taste can be improved in all resuturants. Breakfast taste is good, very homely, coverage is imaginative and large. However it can be made more exotic. Lunch buffet is Good, taste can be made better, elegance also is average. Panchratna service on Fri 9th Sep was slow ( I know the hotel was suddenly very busy on Friday eve, that could be the reason). Taste was very good. Housekeeping standards are very good. Front office service is also very good. Resturant F&B service team and Chef's team is all very good. The overall staff is very good at delivering very good service, but does not go out of the way. No complaints, but level of service can be enhanced to meet over all Taj standards. 1) Staff at all levels & functions need to maintain eye contact, must greet in walkways. 2) The Managers should be conscious of presence of a customer around. I found managers were too busy, talking among themselves even at less work load. 3) Resturant Servers/Floor team should not talk among themselves or be very soft even in a busy resturant, specially those picking up live food orders from the kitchen team. 4) Noise of cutlery and utensils shifting should be Nil/Minimal. 5) One Guest Relations Executive should come out to See-off every Check out. When we were leaving, the managers were standing free, chatting up, one one even nodded to us 😀 6) GM is not seen anywhere, should walk around during breakfast to meet up guests. Ditto for F&B Head. This will make service & standards improve every day. These indicators are hall mark in all Taj Hotels irrespective of their grade and location. You must train & retain, specially in Taj Institute or in places like Taj Hotels in Goa, Kerala, Rajasthan or even in Mumbai and New Delhi. Service Mentions: Front Office Manager Chirag Patel attended to us well, Daryll Duty Manager also attended to our needs as requested. Noel at the breakfast and later at Panchratna was Exceptional in Service: she took agile care, gave good food advice and was very vigilant all time. One House Keeping supervisor/senior worker in white shirt uniform on 8th to 10th Sep tending to our rooms 503 & 505 was Exceptional. I have misplaced his name. ( I would attribute slow service at Panchratna to less staff and high load in all eateries of of the hotel on 9th eve due to many customer groups, so not to bother about it) Bed was not comfortable, I think it's good to have mattresses that have soft & harder sides and change the side as per customer needs. Noise disturbance from the walk way outside the rooms can be felt if family groups living in diffrent room are talking in the walkway. Backside exterior facade of the building, facing the pool and play area needs painting. Front facade is good, Gardens are manicured well. I think you can break the walls and re-create sepreate enterances to indoors play area and the Spa: Jaccuzi/Sound area. Today it is common enterance. Its s low cost work. I am glad I came to your Taj Nashik, I am a great believer in Taj brand and in last 40 years, I live in Taj Hotels as much as possible. Thank you for your services Hanuman T. After check out..I didn't like to get away from yr hotel
A 5* hotel hv 5* service..In all department At reception..Room service.. Restaurant, Swimming pool,bath,steam . All staff members r humble..N.Cooperative, at kitchen we yg got jain food on our demand..thts nice experience .Mrs Ratnaji hv guided us towards all the activity places..Thanks to her.. we hv got early check in..So nice approach of reception staff...Also got 1.30 hr late check out on our request..After that we r allowed to stay at reception hall untuk 4.15 pm as hv to catch train at 6 pm from Nasik..So we r thankful to yr lovely staff...Besides this we also thankful to man from room service..As he has provided all the necessary items on our demand without any delay...A man named Akshay & Arun yg also assisted us while entering in pool, jacuzzi bath & steam room as we r new to this experience...Yr main Shauff at kitchen yg also prepared jain food on our demand in every time at breakfast,lunch,dinner..With good taste.. So in short..We hv a nice wonderful experience at our stay at room no 104 From 14 to 16 sep'22..I just can say " Wah Taj gate way"..Where I didn't want to get away from der Thanks Regards Viresh S.

There is scope of improvement in Spa services. Had a foot massage done which was not upto my expectations. Otherwise, had a fabulous stay at the hotel!
