Tata Neu is a digital super app by the Tata Group that integrates multiple Tata-owned brands and services into a single platform. It offers a seamless shopping, travel, and lifestyle experience by allowing users to earn and redeem NeuCoins across various Tata brands, including IHCL, Air India/Air India Express, BigBasket, Croma, Westside, Tanishq, and many more.

NeuPass is access to a power-packed membership programme where members can shop, order food, book hotel & flights and a lot more, while being rewarded for it. NeuPass loyalty program rewards the member with special offers, savings, NeuCoins where members can earn and redeem their NeuCoins across multiple participating Tata Brands in this program.

WHAT ARE NEUCOINS? WHAT CAN A MEMBER DO WITH THEM?

NeuCoins are the reward points that member can earn and use on Tata Neu and its partner brands. Member can earn NeuCoins and use them while shopping, making hotel & flight bookings, ordering food, and so much more at Tata Neu partnered brands, on eligible platforms. 1 NeuCoin = ₹ 1.

HOW CAN MEMBER EARN NEUCOINS?

Members can earn NeuCoins through eligible transactions made on the Tata Neu application and at partner brands. The earning criteria and eligibility may vary for each participating brand on Tata Neu. They earn upto 8% NeuCoins on each booking made across participating IHCL brands.

HOW CAN A MEMBER USE ITS NEUCOINS?

Member can use their NeuCoins on an array of options including:

Stays, dining, bar & spa therapies at Taj, Claridges, SeleQtions, Gateway, Vivanta, Ginger, Tree of Life and ãma Stays and Trails.
Air India flight bookings.
Bigbasket Orders.
Purchases from Croma.
Shopping on Tata CLiQ.

If a member is shopping online, they can use the NeuCoins by selecting Tata Pay as the payment method. If a Member is shopping in-store, hey can inform the cashier that they would like to pay with NeuCoins. NeuCoins can only be used on eligible spending as defined by the respective brands and the NeuCoins with the closest expiry date will be used up first so that Member can get the most out of member rewards.

WHEN WILL THE NEUCOINS EXPIRE?

NeuCoins remain valid for one year from when they are earned. For instance, if 100 NeuCoins are earned on 1st December 2024 under a fixed one-year expiry rule, they will be valid until 1st December 2025.

CAN MEMBER EARN OR USE ITS NEUCOINS IN FRACTIONS?

No, NeuCoins cannot be earned or used in fractions. They are rounded off to the nearest integer. NeuCoins greater than or equal to 0.5 are rounded up while NeuCoins less than 0.5 are rounded down.

HOW DOES MEMBER CHECK THE NEUCOINS BALANCE?

Please visit the Tata Neu app or website and look for NeuCoins balance on the Tata Neu homepage.

DOES THE MEMBER NEED TO HAVE AN EXISTING MEMBERSHIP OF ANY BRANDS TO JOIN NEUPASS?

No, that is not required. Everyone is welcome to sign up for NeuPass. Please visit  www.tajhotels.com

Are there any charges to sign up for NeuPass?

No, it’s rewarding all the way! There are no charges whatsoever for becoming a Neu Pass member.

A person is a Non-resident Indian (NRI). Can the person still join NeuPass?

Yes, absolutely! NeuPass is open to everyone.

A person is not an Indian citizen. Can the person still sign up for NeuPass?

Yes, Member can certainly join NeuPass.

Is a phone number or email address necessary to sign up on Tata Neu?

Member’s mobile number is necessary to sign up on Tata Neu. An OTP will be sent on the mobile number required to sign up / login to Tata Neu.

How long does it take for NeuCoins to be deducted after member redeems it for settlement?

If the redemption transaction is successful, then NeuCoins will be deducted immediately from member’s account.

If a transaction failed, but NeuCoins got deducted from the account, what do members do?

If the transaction has failed, then the corresponding NeuCoins will be refunded to the member’s account within 24 hours.

Is there a way a member can get its expired NeuCoins back?

No, there is no way to reverse expired NeuCoins into the member’s account.

What happens to member’s NeuCoins if member cancel its booking?

If member cancel its booking that Member had paid for with NeuCoins, the member will have to raise a refund request for its NeuCoins with the Tata Neu Customer Care team and/or the dedicated IHCL Customer Care team. Once approved, the redeemed NeuCoins will be automatically refunded back to the member’s account.

On what basis is a Taj InnerCircle NeuPass Tier upgraded?

The following are the criteria for tier upgrades:

Taj InnerCircle Member Tier: – It is the base tier, every member on its enrolment to the Tata Neu program will be onboarded on the Member Tier at IHCL.
Taj InnerCircle Copper Tier: – When a Taj InnerCircle member completes stay of 5 room nights or ₹ 50 thousand of eligible spending at IHCL brands within a year, member will be automatically upgraded to the Taj InnerCircle Copper tier.
Taj InnerCircle Silver Tier: – When a Taj InnerCircle Copper tier member completes stay of 10 room nights or ₹ 1 lakhs of eligible spending at IHCL brands within a year, member will be automatically upgraded to the Taj InnerCircle Silver tier.
Taj InnerCircle Gold Tier: – In case a Taj InnerCircle Silver tier member completes stay of 40 room nights or ₹ 4 lakhs of eligible spending at IHCL brands within a year, member will be automatically upgraded to the Taj InnerCircle Gold tier.
Taj InnerCircle Platinum Tier: – In case a Taj InnerCircle Gold tier member completes stay of 80 room nights or ₹ 8 lakhs of eligible spending at IHCL brands within a year, member will be automatically upgraded to the Taj InnerCircle Platinum tier.

What is the validity of a Taj InnerCircle NeuPass upgraded tier ?

Each upgraded tier remains valid for 365 days from the date of upgrade, unless the member qualifies for a higher tier within that period. If the member does not meet the eligibility criteria to retain the current tier during this 365-day period, the member will be downgraded to the lower tier (as per their eligibility) on completion of 365 days.

Which spends at IHCL are not eligible for earning NeuCoins?

"Ineligible spends" are defined as:

Which includes but are not limited to room charges that are not included in the definition of eligible spends.
Charges for rooms booked as part of a banquet or group event at the hotel will not be eligible for earning points.
Charges for banquets, parties, meetings, weddings, events and other similar functions.
Rooms booked as office space.
Charges for Business Centre facilities used by non-resident member guests.
Complimentary services.
Any charges which are settled using Taj Experiences Gift Cards or NeuCoins.
Charges for food and beverages exceeding a group of 10.
Charges for car hire, third-party shopping arcade, pay outs, tips, taxes, and other third- party spends.
Membership fees
Charges (even if charged to the members’ room) for non-affiliated hotel entities which are not owned and/or operated by the hotel including, but not limited to, outlets such as travel bookings, gift shop, drugstore, clothes, gallery, or specialty stores, recreational or entertainment concessions.

Which spends at IHCL are eligible for earning NeuCoins?

"Eligible spends” or "Eligible charges" are spends made by Member on eligible room rates, room charges, food and beverages (restaurants, bars, room service and mini-bars), telecommunication, laundry, spa services, Salon services, cake shop, business centre services and purchases at the Taj Khazana chain of stores. They don't include:

Room charges that are included in the definition of ineligible rates (which includes but is not limited bookings made as airline Crew, Events, Group, Complimentary Stays, Long Stays (stays of more than 5 days) and Conferences
Charges for banquets, parties, meetings, weddings, events and other similar functions.
Rooms booked as office space.
Charges for Business Centre facilities used by non-resident member guests.
Complimentary services.
Any charges which are settled using Taj Experiences Gift Cards or NeuCoins.
Charges for food and beverages (including those associated with parties/ social gatherings hosted at restaurants and bars) which are discounted/special menu/ membership packages/ others which are not as per the printed menu of the restaurant/ bar/ cake shop, unless stated otherwise.
Charges for car hire/ shopping arcade/ fitness centre/ chartered flights, pay outs, tips, taxes.

What is the new expiry rule for NeuCoins?

This rule is effective from 1st September, 2025. NeuCoins will be valid for a fixed duration, depending on the membership tierNeuCoins will remain valid for 1 year from when they are earned in Silver, Copper and Member tiers. For instance, NeuCoins earned in these tiers in November 2025 will expire in November 2026.NeuCoins will remain valid for 3 years from when they are earned in Platinum and Gold tiers. For instance, NeuCoins earned in these tiers during November 2025 will expire on November 2028.

What happens when a member is upgraded / downgraded?

The NeuCoins earned in a specific tier will follow the expiry rules of that tier, irrespective of change in tier of member. For instance, if a member earns 100 NeuCoins in June 2025 as a Platinum member, those coins will expire in June 2028. If they move to the Silver Tier in December 2025 and earn another 50 NeuCoins, these NeuCoins will follow the 1-year fixed expiry rule and expire in December 2026, while the initial 100 NeuCoins continue to be valid as per their tier of earning.

How does a member earn NeuCoins at IHCL?

Members can start earning NeuCoins from the day member become a part of Tata Neu program, simply by spending on participating IHCL hotels and restaurants.

If member is a platinum tier member, member can earn 8* NeuCoins for every ₹ 100 spent net of taxes
If member is a gold tier member, member can earn 7* NeuCoins for every ₹ 100 spent net of taxes

Can member earn NeuCoins at hotels outside India?

Yes, for spends at hotels outside India, members will earn NeuCoins based on their eligible spends at the respective hotel. The spend amount will be converted to INR, and NeuCoins wil be credited to the member’s account based on the converted amount.

Can member redeem NeuCoins at hotels outside India?

Yes, for spends at hotels outside India, members can redeem NeuCoins based on their eligible spends at the respective hotel. The redemption will have in INR and exchange rate will apply as per the local currency.

Will members earn NeuCoins on their Qmin transaction?

Yes, member will earn NeuCoins on all its eligible Qmin transactions using the Tata Neu or Qmin App.

Can member use its NeuCoins on Qmin?

Yes, member can pay for its Qmin order, fully or partly, using its NeuCoins.

Can a member redeem its NeuCoins at any of The Claridges or Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels?

Yes, a member can redeem their NeuCoins at The Claridges or select Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels.

Can a member avail their loyalty membership benefits and vouchers at The Claridges or Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels?

Yes, a member cannot avail loyalty membership benefits and voucher sat The Claridges or select Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels as this is non-participating brand in the loyalty program.

What is the earning rate across Ginger?

Copper, Silver, Gold and Platinum can earn 4% of eligible spending net of taxes at Ginger Hotels. Member tier will earn 2% of eligible spending net of taxes at Ginger Hotels.

What are Member Rates?

Member rates are special discounted rates on Best Available Rate (BAR) which are applicable only to NeuPass members.

What type of Upgrade Vouchers Do Platinum & Gold Members Get?

Platinum & Gold Tier members get the following upgrade voucher:

Platinum members get unlimited room upgrades (subject to availability at the hotel). Each platinum member can avail an upgrade to next category from the room booked for a stay of up to 05 consecutive nights.
Gold members get 20 room upgrade vouchers to the Next Category Room for up to 5 consecutive nights per stay. This voucher entitles the member to a complimentary upgrade to the next category from the room booked
Platinum members get 10 and Gold members get 2 Taj Club Room Upgrade vouchers. The voucher is a room only upgrade and will not include any other third-party services (outsourced) by the hotel. This includes airport transfer, payouts, medical charges, and other services outsourced by the respective hotel. Please confirm the same with the hotel in advance.

How does a member avail the F&B discount?

The member must quote their registered mobile number with Tata Neu at the hotel to avail the discount and give the OTP sent to member for verification. Points are applicable after discount on the invoice. The member can avail the discount even if they are not residing at the hotel.

Can a member earn NeuCoins on promotional discounted spends?

A member will earn NeuCoins on eligible spends net of taxes and discounts at participating IHCL hotels.

What are Happy Hours? How does a Taj InnerCircle Platinum & Gold Member avail It?

Taj InnerCircle Platinum & Gold Members can enjoy exclusive Happy Hours at a designated venue within the hotel during their stay. Each hotel will host members for complimentary beverages between 6pm – 8pm, offering a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Taj InnerCircle Platinum member is eligible for unlimited complimentary beverages and Taj InnerCircle Gold tier member is eligible for 1+1 complimentary beverages along with their partners during the Happy Hours [Residential Only]. Here’s what you need to know:

Happy Hours are available only at the hotel's designated venue.
This privilege is exclusively for the member and their partner staying at the hotel.
Beverages are served by the glass or standard peg measure.
Food is not part of this benefit, and minibar consumption is excluded.
Ordering by the bottle, including wine, is not permitted, and multiple rounds of drinks cannot be ordered together.

Can multiple Tata Neu members utilize their benefitson a single transaction at participating hotels?

No, only one member's benefits can be utilized in a single transaction at the time of settling the invoice.

Can NeuCoins of multiple Taj InnerCircle members be redeemed for the settlement of a single invoice?

Yes, NeuCoins of multiple member can be redeemed in a single transaction at the time of settling the invoice. The NeuCoins redemptions needs to be verified via OTP for each member.

Can the Taj InnerCircle NeuPass upgrades and vouchers be gifted?

None of the Taj InnerCircle NeuPass vouchers and upgrade benefits be gifted; they must be utilized by the member only.

Is there Taj Club Lounge access for members?

Taj InnerCircle NeuPass Platinum members have unlimited access to the Taj Club Lounge while residing at the hotel. This is only applicable for the member and a single partner residing with them.

Can member gift/transfer its NeuCoins?

NeuCoins can be redeemed and gifted in the form of Taj Experience Gift Cards to friends and/or family of the Member, for a minimum amount of ₹1000 and maximum ₹25000.
