TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Residential Offer

  • The special rate can only be availed by Armed Forces Personnel only – Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force - currently in-service and retired.
  • The rate is applicable for personal travel only. This rate cannot be used for business travels.
  • Valid and original Armed Forces Photo ID with a mandatory Government photo ID is required at the time of check-in.
  • The concerned Indian Armed Forces personnel is required to stay as a part of the booking.
  • All bookings must be guaranteed by a valid credit card.
  • Bill to company will not be entertained.
  • In the absence of a valid Armed Forces Photo ID, the special rate shall not apply, and the hotel will charge the regular, best available rate with no discounts or inclusions.​
  • The offer is available at participating hotels only and the rate is subject to availability at the time of booking.​
  • Limited rooms are available on this offer and blackout dates will apply.
  • The discounted offer is calculated on the Best Available Rate and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, package or negotiated rate.
  • 25% savings on Food and Soft Beverages at select restaurants.
  • 25% savings on Salon and Spa at Taj, Vivanta and SeleQtions hotels.
  • Offer excludes Taj Wellington Mews, Taj Safaris and amã stays and trails.
  • Dining, Salon and Spa discounts will not be applicable at Ginger Hotels.
  • For the dining discount, hotel’s approval will be required for entertaining more than 10 guests.
  • Maximum occupancy per room is defined as per hotel policy. Additional charges apply for children or extra adult(s) in the room as per hotel policy.
  • In case of no show the hotel reserves the right to charge the room rate and taxes applicable on the credit card provided at the time of the booking.
  • Rate for Armed Force cannot be booked by travel agents and are net-not commissionable.
  • The Armed Forces Rate can be utilized for a maximum of 3 rooms and is not valid on group bookings. Reservations exceeding 3 rooms on overlapping dates will be considered as a group booking; each hotel reserves the right to refuse such bookings based on availability and will apply differential rates.
  • Maximum length of stay at a hotel is 7 nights. For a stay of more than 7 nights, approval is required from the hotel.​ Each hotel reserves the right to refuse such bookings and will apply special rates.
  • The Armed Forces Rate Policy may be terminated or changed at any time without prior notice.

Armed Forces Special Rate FAQs

Can I book this offer via phone?
  • Yes, you can. Please call 1800-111-825 and specify that you are looking to book under the Armed Forces Special Rate for Armed Forces personnel. Our associates will guide you with your booking.
I am a defence personnel but not from Army/Navy/Air Force. Am I eligible for this offer?
  • The offer is only for Armed Forces personnel in Army, Navy and Air Force who are either in service currently or retired. It is not applicable for any other category of defence personnel.
I am in the armed forces, however at a field posting? Can my family avail the offer?
  • Usage of this benefit is allowed by the dependent family of the personnel if the personnel is on the field. However, such dependent family member should have a valid Dependents Card. Limits as per policy will be applicable.​
Is this valid for Martyr’s families?
  • Yes, and the family of the martyr should have a valid Dependents Card. Limits as per policy will be applicable.
How will the bookings be verified?
  • We will require your original Armed Forces Photo ID card along with a government approved photo ID at the time of check-in.​
I am not able to see the discounted rates.
  • It may be because we’ve exhausted the availability of rooms under this offer due to high demand. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.
Can I book the stay on behalf of my family?
  • You can book a maximum of 3 rooms for your family and you per hotel. You are required to accompany your family as a part of this booking. Usage of this benefit is allowed by the dependent family of the personnel if the personnel is on the field. However, such dependent family member should have a valid Dependents Card. Limits as per policy will be applicable.​
Can I book Taj hotels in International destinations too?
  • No, this is offer is valid for India hotels only across all IHCL hotels - Taj, Vivanta, SeleQtions and Ginger hotels. This offer excludes amã stays and trails.
I am a TIC member. Can I earn/redeem my TIC points while availing this offer?
  • Yes, every booking made through this offer will help you earn/redeem TIC points.
Is there a booking restriction on number of nights?
  • Yes, you can book for maximum of 7 nights per reservation.
Can we use Amex voucher or Taj Gift voucher?
  • No.
I have already done the booking in the past; can I cancel it and choose this offer?
  • We will not amend any existing booking to the offer if it is within cancellation period. If the booking is outside the cancellation period, you will need to cancel the booking and process a new reservation.
Can I book more than 1 destination?
  • Yes, but not more than 3 rooms per destination.
Are the transfers for Goa Hotels Complimentary?
  • No, complimentary transfers are not included for Goa hotels.
