The Taj Experiences Card is a pre-loaded gift card, which can be redeemed against qualifying spends at any Taj Hotel in India. These are available as physical cards (Taj Experiences Gift Cards) and E-Gift Cards (Taj Experiences E-Gift Cards). Festive and gifting occasion-themed design options may be selected for Taj Experiences E-Gift Cards.

The minimum card load value for a Taj Experiences E-Gift Card is Rs. 1000 and the maximum value is Rs. 25,000. The minimum card load value for a physical Taj Experiences Gift Card is Rs. 1000 and the maximum value is Rs. 25,000.

WHAT IS THE VALIDITY PERIOD OF A TAJ EXPERIENCES CARD? HOW CAN I CHECK MY CARD BALANCE AND VALIDITY?

The validity period for a card purchased online is one year from the date of issue unless specified otherwise with the card. You may check your card validity and balance online in the Check Balance section at https://www.tajhotels.com/en-in/gifting-and-shopping/gift-cards or by contacting Taj Reservations Worldwide at reservations@tajhotels.com or by calling 1800 111 825 or +91 22 6601 1825.

CAN THE VALIDITY OF TAJ EXPERIENCES CARDS BE EXTENDED?

Yes, Taj Experiences Cards can be reloaded on https://www.tajhotels.com/en-in/gifting-and-shopping/gift-cards till a maximum card balance of Rs. 25,000, except where cards may be issued by a third party or as part of a promotion or offer. Cards would be automatically revalidated for 365 days from the date of load or reload. Revalidation requests would not be processed outside these terms.

WHAT ARE QUALIFYING SPENDS?

Taj Experiences Cards can be redeemed for spends towards rooms, food and beverages, spa services and applicable taxes without restrictions, except for retail spends at third-party outlets at Taj properties, business centre equipment hire, hired services from third party sources, or any expenses of a personal nature for which a pay-out is raised such as buying medicines, repairs of personal items, etc. The card shall not be valid for use at any other service establishment or for withdrawal of cash.

DOES THE ENTIRE VALUE OF THE TAJ EXPERIENCES CARD HAVE TO BE REDEEMED AT ONCE?

No, multiple transactions can be performed on a Taj Experiences Card until the validity expires or the value of the card is exhausted.

WHAT CAN BE DONE IF THE BILLED VALUE EXCEEDS THE VALUE OF MY TAJ EXPERIENCES CARD?

If your bill value exceeds the balance of the Taj Experiences Card, you may settle the difference by cash or a major credit or debit card.

CAN I REDEEM MORE THAN ONE TAJ EXPERIENCES CARD FOR A SINGLE TRANSACTION?

Yes, you may combine multiple cards to settle charges.

HOW MANY TEGC CAN I USE IN ONE DINING BILL?

You are required to present the email bearing the Taj Experiences E-Gift Card number at the time of transaction. A physical copy of an E-Gift Card is not required to be presented.

DO I HAVE TO BE STAYING AT THE HOTEL TO USE MY TAJ EXPERIENCES CARDS?

No, a Taj Experiences Card can be used for services like dining, spa and other facilities managed by the hotel where a stay is not mandated. However, please note that some hotels have restricted access to dining, spa and other facilities for residential guests only. Please refer to the hotels for more information.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A TAJ EXPERIENCES CARD?

A physical Taj Experiences Gift Card usually takes 3-4 working days to reach your preferred destination in India. An E-Gift Card is delivered immediately to the recipient’s designated e-mail ID.

IS GIFT CARD PACKAGING AVAILABLE?

Taj Experiences Gift Cards ordered online are delivered in Taj branded gift card welcome packaging.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY TAJ E-GIFT CARD IS NOT DELIVERED TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS?

If a Taj E-Gift Card is not delivered to the specified recipient’s e-mail address, please check the junk or spam folder in your mailbox. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN?

The Taj Experiences Card is a bearer card. The card will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

WILL I EARN NEUCOINS WHEN I PAY WITH TEGC?

Yes. Taj InnerCircle members of NeuPass loyalty program will earn NeuCoins for the payments made by using TEGC as a tender.
