As the capital of Kerala, Trivandrum is well-connected to other major cities. There are direct flights to Indian metros from Trivandrum International Airport, and international locations such as Colombo, Malé and the Arabian Gulf.

Trivandrum Central station is a major railhead, with connections to other important Indian cities. Regular trains are available to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Himsagar Express is popular amongst people who are heading towards North India.

You can board one of the many luxury buses that operate from Trivandrum to other points in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The government-run Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) also runs bus services within the state.

Trivandrum is connected with Kollam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Chennai, Madurai, and Pondicherry by road. Reputed car services are available and can be booked for your travel.
