2 September 2014 - The five star Taj Mahal Palacein Mumbai is delighted to have received an award at the UK Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Travel Awards 2014. The group's flagship hotel won the best Overseas Business Hotel category.
Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, also ranked highly in the awards, taking fifth place in the Asia and India Hotels category, while Rambagh Palace also featured in 11th place in the same category. The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai was voted 29th in the magazine's World's Top 100 list while Taj Falaknuma Palace ranked 40th.
The Taj Mahal Palace is currently featuring in a UK documentary that goes behind the scenes of this, India's most iconic, hotel. 'Hotel India' is a four-part series airing on BBC2, with the second episode being shown on Wednesday, 3 September.
