Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport is located at Devanahalli, about 40km from the city centre. The airport services domestic flights from across the country as well as flights from select international destinations.

There are four major railway stations in the city: Bangalore City Junction, Bangalore Cantonment railway station, Yeshwantapur Junction and Krishnarajapuram railway station through which trains from across the country pass.

Buses, both private and run by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, ply between Bangalore to major cities across the country.

Being a major metropolis, Bangalore is connected by state and national highways to the rest of the country. National Highway 4 goes towards Mumbai, while NH 7 links the city to the national capital of New Delhi.
