Tamil and Malayalam New Year Feast

With its temple-inspired décor, rich interiors and exquisite cuisine, Southern Spice recreates the multi-facetted and rich heritage of Tamil Nadu. A treasure trove of recipes, handed down generations sourced from the interiors of South India's districts, flower at the hands of expert chefs.

Please come over to celebrate the Tamil and Malayalam New Year with a festive meal. Traditionally, the New Year is celebrated by partaking a special hand pounded mix of different ingredients including margosa leaves and jaggery. The mix of tastes indicates that the New Year will have a mix of experiences yet the sweet experiences will be predominant!
