Machan

Machan is a Hindi / Urdu word referring to a perched platform built on the top of a tree in a forest, from where you survey everything natural, wild and beautiful including animals. Given its lofty residence on top of five floors of the Pangthang forest, the name couldn’t be more befitting. The All-Day Dining with views all around serves contemporary Indian, Continental and Asian cuisine. It also includes a range of comfort foods and local classics from Sikkim. The design stays materially conscious with handmade tiles bearing local motifs, local artefacts and the interplay of lights and rafters on the ceiling.
