The water courtyard design of the Spa is surrounded with expansive verdant gardens and a reflecting pool. Each of the six treatment suite offers unmatched luxury with its own private relaxation garden. The Yoga Pavilion finds an idyllic setting as it overlooks the garden courtyard and reflecting pool. The Spa offers a sanarium, Laconium and Hamam complete with external tropical showers and resting pavilions with private patio. The swimming pool is raised and secluded making for quiet, personal moments in the common relaxation pavilion or three individual relaxation pavilions. The Spa has a separate beauty and fitness area that offer high energy sports with tennis courts etc.
Along with signature Indian experiences and ceremonies, Indian therapies, Taj Spa also values yoga and meditation, and offer authentic in-depth Ayurveda programs under the guidance of Vaidyas or Ayurveda physicians. When is the Spa open?

When should a guest arrive for a spa treatment?
Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time to check in, change,
and familiarise themselves with the facility. Guests can also enjoy spending some
time perusing the spa collection at our boutique.
How should a guest make an appointment for a treatment?
The appointments will be scheduled on a first come-first served basis. The Spa recommends that
guests book their appointments in advance to avoid disappointment.
What if a guest cannot make an appointment?
The treatments guest’s select are reserved especially for them. Guests will be charged 50% for
treatments not cancelled at least three hours in advance.
Is there someone to help guests decide on the appropriate treatment?
Our Spa Manager will assist in planning a program to suit individual needs.
How many kinds of treatments are there?
We offer a simple but effective selection of massage techniques to relax and pamper the body.
Our Spa Manager and team of therapists at the spa will help guests decide on specific treatments that are most appealing and beneficial.
Is there a limit to the number of spa treatments guests should plan in a day?
Guests may have as many as they like. Our Spa Manager will suggest the best order in which guests can enjoy their treatments.
What if guests have special health considerations?
Guests should notify our Spa Manager or therapists before booking your treatments if they have high blood pressure,
allergies, other physical ailments or disabilities. We recommend that alcohol not be consumed before, during or immediately after your spa treatments.
What should guests wear during their treatment?
Guests may wish to wear their own bikini or briefs, or we can provide you hygienic disposable briefs.
Alternatively, treatments may be enjoyed without clothes. Our therapists will always use draping
techniques to respect your privacy.
Can guests ask the therapist to accommodate personal preferences and /or to adjust the treatment pressure to increase comfort?
We definitely encourage this practice as guests should enjoy the experience to the fullest
whether it is the music selection, volume, the amount of pressure or a personal favourite from
the spa’s specially blended oils.
What about a guest’s watch, jewellery and valuables?
Guests should leave these personal items in their rooms’ electronic safe.
