For ten days starting July 25th, Latitude is serving an array of aromatic vegetarian and non-vegetarian biryanis spanning different Indian cuisine styles. . A delectable melange of aromatic long grain rice and with a choice of fish, seafood, meat and vegetables, the biryanis are prepared following old, treasured recipes from royal kitchens of the Nizams of Hyderabad, the Nawabs of Lucknow and other erstwhile princely states. Prepared and served in sealed handis to retain the tastes and aromas of the choicest ingredients and spices, the delicious biryanis are served with accompaniments of traditional salads and curd-based preparations. Hyderabadi Food Festival
In August, Latitude hosts the Hyderabadi Food Festival. Hyderabadi cuisine is prepared with the selective use of fine and flavourful herbs and spices, and fresh meat, vegetables and grains that are cooked slowly over a low flame. The process infuses the dish with the most refined aroma and taste. Coconut, tamarind, peanuts and sesame seeds are added in many dishes.
