After the vows are exchanged, guests are welcomed on the shore with Champagne and canapés. The package also includes a full video and a DVD of the entire ceremony – over and under water!

Coral Rejuvenation Program

Equator Bar is a perfect spot to enjoy the music of the wind, waves and rustling palms over an innovative cocktail and delicious light eats. Global Cooler, stirred and mixed with all-natural organic ingredients is the bar’s signature cocktail. The Taj Exotica Coral Rejuvenation Fund aims at giving nature a helping hand to create an artificial reef that in turn will provide a habitat for many marine species. $1.00 of each of the beverage ordered on Fridays is donated to the project.

Agave Harvest

Blue agave, an agave native to Jalisco, Mexico, is valued for being the base ingredient of tequila. Equator Bar pays tribute to the industrious Jimadors, the harvesters of blue agave, with the launch of an exciting selection of tequila-based beverages. The bar will be presenting a variety of tequila cocktails, tequila shots from three different aged spirits, a premium margarita made with the bar's finest Reserva De La Familia extra old tequila, and different flavoured margaritas. A bowl of fresh chips and homemade salsa will be served with every drink during the promotion.

La Isla Bonita – Sangria Festival

The word 'Sangria', which once meant 'blood', is now one of the most popular drinks in the world. The refreshing blend, usually made of fruit soaked in red wine, is a lovely summer drink enjoyed around the world. Equator Bar has recreated the sangria with summer wines - white, sparkling and rosé- to present guests with the perfect sundowners. The bar will feature these special beverages served by the carafe for an instant refill and with giant green olives.

Arabic Nights

In June, Equator Bar will be offering a wide selection of sheesha and specially prepared Turkish coffee. Flavoured sheeshas and Turkish coffee have been particularly popular with guests from the Middle East who visit the resort in the summer. A variety of flavoured sheeshas will be displayed and presented for a sniff for guests to choose their flavour of preference!

24 Degrees, the charming all-day dining restaurant overlooking the lagoon, has a variety of international favourites from Pan-Asian to Continental specialities. In April, the restaurant presents a fantastic menu of Thai cuisine specially prepared by Thai Chef Wasanee Bordeerat. The guiding principal behind Thai cuisine is to achieve a harmonious balance of sweet, sour, salty, and bitter flavours. With her pure and unique Thai cooking style, Chef Wasanee realizes a delightful and delicious balance of these fundamental flavours and effortlessly takes the flavourful cuisine to the next level.

Teppanyaki Nights

Charming and convivial, 24 Degrees has a display kitchen which adds to its relaxed seaside ambience. As the wedding season approaches, the restaurant launched Teppanyaki Nights at the live counter. The counter will buzz with a variety of seafood, meat and vegetarian degustation menus. Chef Tarang, the Teppanyaki Chef, who has trained in famous Japanese restaurants, and his team will deftly prepare delicious fare on `iron plates’ and present the 'grill to plate' concept with flair for the dining pleasure of guests.
