For Younger Guests
The Pierre New York is a wonderful base for your family. The staff ensures young guests feel welcome, and the resourceful Concierge is always close at hand to assist in myriad ways including assistance to make reservations for a family dinner, to offer suggestions for sightseeing or to arrange a babysitter. Children under 18 can share their parents' room at no extra charge.

Children’s amenities include a welcome amenity with bedtime milk and cookies for the youngest guests; child-size bathrobes; complimentary baby and children's toiletries; children's menus in our restaurants and In-Room Dining. Puréed foods for infants (fresh vegetables and fruits) are available from In-Room Dining
Guests are requested to provide the names and ages of the children in their party so that the hotel can offer them special services. Upon request and subject to availability the hotel offers items to childproof guest rooms; cribs and/or rollaway bed(s), at no extra charge and subject to maximum occupancy; complimentary use of books, toys and video game units; complimentary use of highchairs, strollers, bottle warmers, bathing equipment; complimentary amenity bag with diapers, lotions, cotton balls and cotton swabs.
Babysitting Services
With five hours notice, the hotel can arrange reliable babysitting services for little ones. The staff will do whatever is possible to accommodate requests with shorter notice. The hotel only refers experienced and licensed babysitters. Please note that there is an hourly fee for this service. Please contact the Concierge for details.
Family Oriented Activities
The Concierge would be pleased to suggest and help arrange suitable activities for the guest’s family's ages and interests
The hotel’s complimentary off-site activities include visits to the American Museum of Natural History; Central Park: this 843-acre (341-hectares) park features character statues for children to find, including Alice in Wonderland, the Cheshire Cat and Balto; the Children's electronics and communication lab at Sony Wonder Lab; Hudson River Park; the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Museum of Television and Radio; to view the tall ships at the South Street Seaport. Please note that many museums are open to children at no cost, suggested donations only.
Other activities offered by the hotel include Boat tours, Carriage rides, Chelsea Center sports complex, Helicopter tours, Horseback riding, IMAX films, Playspace, Rose Center for Earth and Space with a new state-of-the-art planetarium and Transit Museum. Reservations and applicable fees may apply.
