The Ballroom

The Ballroom

The regal Ballroom has always been the quintessential venue for landmark events and legendary celebrations throughout the history of the hotel. Against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea and the Gateway of India, bathed in rich hues of gold and bejeweled with antique crystal chandeliers, the Ballroom returns as a dazzling setting for an evening of wining and dining.

LTW Designworks, Kuala Lampur has studied the original architecture of the Ballroom closely and incorporated its style in it. Corinthian capitals on gold polished columns, vaulted ceilings, and state of the art audio visual requirements come together as the perfect amalgam of the classic and the contemporary.

The Ballroom outfitted with the latest in technology, will provide the ideal setting for a high profile corporate function. As it does for a social setting, with graceful arches and scalloped pillars giving it an air of Victorian elegance

The rooms can be used on their own or combined as one room, with the North and South Rooms serving as adjunct rooms for cocktails and dinner.

Should your plans call for celebrations on a grander scale, the Gateway Room accommodates by opening into the adjacent Princes Room, which doubles the available space.

Princes Room

The imposing pillars of the Princes Room have witnessed the unfolding of history as India’s ruling princes met secretly, in a vain attempt to stave off their inevitable secession to the Indian Union. Today, the Princes Room is an elegant setting for any distinguished gathering - business or social. Richly decorated walls and ceilings, elegant crystal chandeliers and stained glass panels give the room its distinct character and charm while its large bay windows frame the Bombay harbour. A domed alcove serves as a quiet corner for private discussion.
