DOLPHIN SUITE
The Dolphin Suite with its commanding views over the Arabian lines has been conceived with a crisp clear nautical flavor. Painted tongue and groove ceilings, classic nickel hardware and lighting, and painted paneled walls are set against sun bleached white ash floor. Complementing our backdrop are rich cobalt upholstery’s, sensuous teak timber furniture and sparkling silver accents. The suite shimmers as the sun grabs the leaping dolphin.
Upon entering the foyer of this fantastic fourth floor corner suite, timber louvers screen your view but afford enough of a peak to excite. On the right, an entertainment study, suitable for both daytime work and evening relaxation. Padded walls and sisal type wood carpet absorb the sound as one settles in to a movie on the 65 inch plasma television screen.
The living room, as elegant albeit resort influenced room is very much at home in the palace. Damask upholstery, beautiful soft lines to the fabric mix with Indo – Anglo cane back lounge chairs. They rest upon a Persian carpet of soft and peaches dotted with blues. The rotunda dining room has sun burst pattern timber marquetry floor and a spiral plastered ceiling – the views inside and out are spectacular.
This suite has been designed by LTW (Lim Teo Wilkes) and the master Bedroom is nothing short of a suite within a suite – the king side bed, sofa and lounge chairs all face the sea. The bathroom has convenient access to the ample walk-in closet. The focus is the intricate tile and stone dolphin mosaic on the floor giving the room a spa like approach. There is a claw foot tub, individual marble his + hers vanities, steam shower, WC & toilet and of course a make – up area. The silver leafed headboard ribbons across the wall with the grace of the dolphin – harmonious and free.
