Taj Exotica Resort & Spa welcomes guests to host an elegant Renewal of Vows
ceremony at a pristine beach venue. As civil weddings in the Maldives are not legal,
the resort will host a beautiful ceremony symbolic of your precious bond with your
loved one. A wedding certificate, as a precious memento of the ceremony, will be
presented to you by the resort.
The ceremony is held at a charming structure of antique wooden columns and a tiled roof, inspired by the traditional architecture of the region. A long wooden pier leads to the pavilion set on a secluded island, privy to panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, near the resort. The sand bank ensconcing the pavilion is perfect to host pre-ceremony cocktails and post-ceremony dinner and parties. Dotted with small oil lamps, the island appears ethereal by twilight.
