Keeping with the Taj hotels tradition of setting benchmarks for an outstanding food
and beverage experience, Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi brings across a eclectic treat
for wine conossiers as it ingeniously pairs up scrumptious Indian dishes with the
finest wines. The exquisite harmonization of wines from around the world with delectable
delecacies from Masala Art promises to be a delight worth remembering.
The menu offers guests the unique opportunity to relish Masala cuisine complemented with their favourite wines brought across by the world renowned wineries. While Masalas have been the pride of India, Taj Hotels has been responsible for reviving the Indian tradition with its Masala Chain of restaurants, which introduces innovative Indian food to a global audience.
The menu typically includes sumptuous combinations of starters like Jaitooni Murg and Tikka Khumb Galauti with Schloss Vollrads Riesling Erstes Gewachs 2006. The main course has an array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options like Tawa Jheenga Anardana Dum, Murg Biryani, Asparagus Tofu Ki Subzi and Bhune Aloo Wadi Ka Bharta paired with the favourite red or white. The sweet dishes, for example the Doodhi Badam Ka Halwa or the Aam Kulfi, are paired with sweet desert wines.
