Afternoon Tea
At the Tea Lounge at Taj Krishna, tea is served in the English tradition, with loose tea steeped in individual teapots and poured through sterling silver strainers, into bone china teacups. Tea selections include black, red, green and white teas as well as herbal infusions.
The Hi-Tea menu features signature classics such as baked lemon cheese cake, chocolate praline pastry, kiwi -dragon food tart, Raisin and bitter orange scones served with homemade preserves and fresh cream, Choco-chip madelines, Pesto palmiers, salmon and creamed cheese finger sandwiches.
The Tea Lounge at the Taj Krishna is truly a unique place where almost 20 varieties of premium estate teas and more than 10 different single origin coffees are served.
