St. George’s Room

This room measuring 109 square meters and overlooks St. George’s Mall. The original sash windows offer views of St George’s Mall and St George’s Cathedral, as well as streaming natural daylight to into the room. This elegant space is the perfect setting for meetings and conferences for up to 60 guests classroom style and will also be ideally suited for an elegant lunch or dinner for up to 80 guests.

Cathedral Room

The Cathedral Room measures 62 square meters and overlooks Wale Street and St. George’s Cathedral. The room boasts the original high ceilings and sash windows allowing natural light to stream into the room. The perfect setting for meetings and small conferences for up to 30 guests classroom style and will also be ideal for a cocktail for up to 50 guests.
The Boardroom

The Boardroom

The Board Room measures 40 square meters and features the original brass hinged window frame that looks out onto Wale Street, St. George’s Cathedral and Government Avenue. As the main Board Room, it is equipped with state-of-the-art video conferencing facilities, drop down screen, data projector and an elegant maple wood table that can accommodate up to 14 executives.

Founder Room

The Founders Room measures 65 square meters and has preserved many of original features dating back to the late 1800’s, including with the fire place and wooden panels. A copy of the original painting of the Board of Executors founders has been placed above the original fireplace.

Parliament Room

Measuring 50 square metres in size, this corner room overlooks looks the Houses of Parliament and Government Avenue with Table Mountain as a backdrop. The Queen Victoria Statue can also be seen from the Parliament Room. Double doors inter-lead with the Adderley Room that can be used as an adjacent breakout room for arrival drinks or for a lunch or dinner.

Adderley Room

Positioned with views overlooking the Ou Kerk, Slave Lodge and Adderley Street, the Adderley Room also boasts high ceilings and original sash windows allowing steams of natural sunlight. The artwork chosen depicts a bustling Adderley street and Adderley street flower sellers that ties in with the rich history of the area surrounding Taj Cape Town. The Adderley Room measures 32 square meters and inter-leads with a double door to Parliament Room.

Wale Room

This is the smallest meeting room in Taj Cape Town and measures 20 square meters and can be utilised as a small board room or for breakout sessions. The Wale Room looks out onto Wale Street and can accommodate a meeting of up to 8-10 guests.
