
The Grand Ballroom
This gilded ballroom with sparkling chandeliers, stately columns and richly draped
windows overlooks the Public Garden and Commonwealth Avenue Mall. Two stories high,
it is surrounded on three sides by a balcony, with a grand staircase descending
to The Ballroom below. Measuring 3,825 square feet, the Grand Ballroom provides
a luxurious setting for dining and dancing for 75 to 250 guests and for up to 500
guests in a reception setting.

The Dining Room
This legendary 1927 room overlooks the Public Garden and Newbury Street. Its signature Czechoslovakian cobalt blue and crystal chandeliers, gilded columns and richly draped
window views are inspired by the dining room of King Ludvig I of Bavaria. A grand setting for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, family celebrations, dinners or dances,
this room measures 2,808 square feet and accommodates up to 175 seated guests or receptions up to 200.

The Roof
This breathtaking venue on the 17th floor enjoys summer breezes, panoramic views of Boston's Back Bay area and the twinkling skyline. Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey
and Artie Shaw played on The Roof Top during the Big Band era. Measuring 3400 square feet, The Roof is open from April to November for private celebrations up to 200
guests for reception and 130 guests seated. The setting is perfect for seated dinners, dances, weddings, rehearsal dinners and cocktail receptions. Our chefs can design
seasonal menus from artistic feasts of seasonal luxury ingredients to chic New England clambakes with champagne.
The Petite Ballroom
The Petite Ballroom is perfect for a smaller celebration. Located on the street level of The Carlton Wing, this elegant ballroom measures 1,178 square feet and
accommodates up to 150 for a reception. Expansive walls of windows offer views of the Public Garden and the Commonwealth Avenue Mall. The Petite Ballroom lower foyer
venue measures 1,421 square feet and can hold up to 75 people.

The Taj Ballroom
This room is a perfect choice for receptions. Richly draped bay windows in this spacious room overlook the historic Commonwealth Avenue Mall. The elegant ballroom
measures 1,416 square feet and will accommodate a maximum of 100 guests for dining and as many as 200 for receptions.
The Taj Ballroom can be divided into two smaller rooms:
The Taj I Room - 792 square feet, holds up to 80 people.
The Taj 2 Room - 624 square feet, holds up to 70 people.

The Boardroom
This is a formal, elegantly wood-paneled club-like setting for wine tastings and intimate dinners. The boardroom measures 456 square feet and accommodates up to
25 for dinner.

The Adam Room
The site of the original 1927 ballroom of Taj Boston. It is a jewel-box setting
with chandeliers, ornate mirrors and tall windows overlooking Newbury Street. Measuring
884 square feet, it graciously accommodates 70 for dining and 100 for receptions.
Connected to The Lounge, these two rooms provide a magnificent option for intimate
gatherings.

Second Level Rooms
- The French Room and Lounge - 3,465 square feet, holds up to 120 people
- The French Room - 646 square feet, holds up to 70 people

Third Floor Rooms
Six private dining rooms all with charming views of Boston are conveniently located
on the third floor. These dining rooms are ideally designed for smaller, more intimate
gatherings or functions, bridal teas, hospitality suites or dinners. Some have wood-burning
fireplaces and the services of The Fireplace Butler, all have windows that open.
- The Arlington Room - 532 square feet, holds up to 40 people
- The Garden Room - 532 square feet, holds up to 50 people
- The Back Bay Room - 551 square feet, holds up to 50 people
- The Commonwealth Room - 510 square feet, holds up to 50 people
- The Newbury Room - 840 square feet, holds up to 60 people
