The Woolloomooloo Wharf is the most prominent historic finger wharf in Sydney. With construction commencing in 1911 by the Sydney Maritime Trust, the Wharf is now a 'destination' within itself. Originally constructed as a wool and cargo handling facility the Wharf was nearly demolished and then, once saved by the protesters was listed under permanent conservation in the Australian Heritage Act, in 1988.
100 years later, the heritage listed Finger Wharf Woolloomooloo is now home to six of Sydney's most popular and best-loved restaurants incorporating BLUE as Sydney's finest boutique hotel.
