One of the favourite local delicacies is Dal-Baati-Churmaa. Savouries like Chaats, samosas, kachoris and mirchi bada are also popular fare here. Dhaniya Aloo Mongodi is another unique Rajasthani entree made with coriander and potato.
The locals here are devout Hindus who follow most Hindu rites and rituals. However, some people also practice Jainism in the area.
