Spa FAQs
These answers to our guests' most frequently asked questions will help to get the most out of the spa experience.

What are the timings of the Jiva Grande Spa?
Jiva Grande Spa is open from 9:00am to 9:00 pm every day. Complimentary Yoga classes are offered daily from 7.30 am to 8.30 am

When should guests arrive for treatments?
We encourage all guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to benefit from the wet and heat areas. We strongly recommend a session in the “wet” areas before your treatment. Relaxing awhile here will enhance the effect of your treatment by warming muscles, opening pores, encouraging detoxification and allowing deeper relaxation during your treatment.

Should you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, we will accommodate you to the best of our abilities. Your treatment time may be shortened or rescheduled to avoid inconveniencing the next guest

How should a guest make an appointment for a treatment?
Advance bookings for spa treatments are highly recommended to avoid disappointment. You can request for an appointment at the time of your room booking or on check in at the Palace.

What if a guest can’t make it for an appointment?
A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to help us reschedule your appointment, subject to space availability. Any cancellation with less than 3 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Full charges will be applied for a “No Show”.

Is there someone to help guests decide on the appropriate treatments?
Our Spa Manager and trained therapists will assist the guests in planning a program to suit their individual needs.

What are the kinds of treatments available at the Spa?
We offer an extensive selection of signature experiences, Indian therapies, body scrubs and wraps, beauty treatments and Yoga. Kindly refer to the Spa treatments section for detailed information on the menu.

Is there a limit to the number of treatments guest should plan in a day?
Guest may choose to have as many spa experiences as they like. Our Spa Manager will be happy to assist in selection of treatments during the guest’s stay.

What if guests have special health considerations?
Prior to all treatments, guests have to fill in a health assessment form where they should notify the Spa Manager of any medical problems. We don’t recommend alcohol and food intake 1 hour prior to the treatments. Guests with high blood pressure, heart conditions, who are pregnant or have any medical complications, are advised to consult their doctors before signing up for any Spa treatments/services. Please inform your spa therapist of any medical conditions.

What guests should wear during the treatments?
We offer guests disposable underwear or if they choose they could use their own underwear. Our Spa provides disposable slippers and bathrobes made from organic cotton. Swimwear is to be worn in all the wet areas.

Can guests ask the therapist to accommodate personal preferences and or to adjust the treatment pressure to increase comfort?
We definitely encourage this practice as guests should enjoy the experience to the fullest whether it is the music selection, volume or the amount of pressure.

What about a guest’s watch, jewelries and valuables?
While we endeavour to look after your belongings, we do not accept any liability for your valuables. Please leave your valuables in the safe located in your room.

Are there any etiquettes for guests at the Spa?
To preserve our tranquil environment, we respectfully request guests to keep all mobile phones, pagers and electronic devices switched off at all times. Guests under the age of 16 years are not permitted within the spa premises, unless accompanied by an adult. Our Spa is an alcohol and smoke free environment.
