When is the Jiva Spa open?
Jiva Spa is open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm every day.

When should guests arrive for treatments?
Guest should arrive 15 minutes prior to the treatments to allow time to check in. If guests are using the Laconium and Jacuzzi we advice them to come at least 30 minutes prior to the treatment.

How should a guest make an appointment for a treatment?
We recommend that the guest should book their appointments in advance to avoid disappointments.

What if a guest can’t make it for an appointment?
Guests will not be charged any cancellation fee if it is given 3 hours prior to the appointment time. Any cancellation given with less than 3 hours notice would be charged 50% of the treatment. For no shows the guest will be billed 100% of the treatment charge.

Is there someone to help guests decide on the appropriate treatments?
Yes. Our Ayurveda Physician and Spa Manager will assist the guests in planning a program to suit their individual needs.

How many kinds of treatments are there?
We offer an effective selection of massages, body scrubs and wraps, beauty treatments, ayurveda treatments and yoga.

Is there a limit to the number of treatments guest should plan in a day?
Guest may have as many as they like (one of each kind a day). They will be helped in choosing the treatments by our Spa Manager and Ayurveda Physician.

What if guests have special health considerations?
Guests prior to the treatments have to fill in a health assessment form where they should notify the Spa Manager or Ayurveda Doctor of any medical problems. We don’t recommend alcohol and food intake 1 hour prior to the treatments.

What guests should wear during the treatments?
We offer them disposable underwear or if they choose they could use their own underwear. Our Spa provides disposable slippers and bathrobes made from organic cotton.

Can guests ask the therapist to accommodate personal preferences and or to adjust the treatment pressure to increase comfort?
We definitely encourage this practice as guests should enjoy the experience to the fullest whether it is the music selection, volume or the amount of pressure.

What about a guest’s watch, jewelries and valuables?
Guests should leave these personal items in their rooms, otherwise a locker will be provided.
