interiors of Karavalli are inspired by a traditional
Mangalorean house, featuring a wooden ceiling, furniture,
antique seafarers maps, and a variety of antiques from times
of the French and English occupation of India. For alfresco
dining, the restaurant offers an open-air courtyard, a
verandah and, garden.
Signature dishes include Kane
fry ( Lady fish), Coorg fried chicken, Alleppy fish curry, and
Prawn Balchao along with Appams, The Karavalli has been a
recepient of many awards, the latest accolade being “The Times
Food Guide award’ for the best sea food restaurant of
Bangalore.
