This new package gives couples the chance to renew their wedding vows in the romantic location of the Taj Coral Reef Resort in the Maldives. The ‘Renewal of Vows’ package begins with a garland welcome at the airport by a resort representative.

Couples are escorted to Hembadhu Island by luxury speedboat and greeted with a floral bouquet and a glass of champagne. Room upgrades are subject to availability and the bedroom welcome included a heart—shaped chocolate cake and a large fruit basket.

After lunch, there is the chance to escape, as couples are taken by boat to an isolated sandbank to relax and enjoy a bottle of champagne. On return, they are treated to a special 45—minute massage at the Mandara Spa. During the evening a romantic candlelight dinner with wine is served on their own sundeck or on the beach. Breakfast in their room is served the next morning.

The Renewal of Vows ceremony involves the exchange of the couple’s own rings, the cutting of the wedding cake and the presentation of a ceremonial certificate. The Resort offers the option of a special 45 minute “under water ceremony”of renewing of vows and exchanging rings.
