The Pierre offers six elegant venues for hosting events and weddings. Being located just across Fifth Avenue from Central Park, The Pierre has been the undisputed choice for New York’s most notable weddings for seven decades: with the charm and comfort of a European residence, accented by 1930s detailing and the art of trompe l’oeil. Wired or wireless, high speed email and Internet access are available at all the venues.
Depending on the size of the event, and subject to season and availability, a complimentary room will be offered for the bridal couple. Function space may be booked up to one year in advance. |
| Grand Ballroom |
The 8,526-sq-ft (792-sq-mt) Grand Ballroom remains one of New York's premier venues. Its 18-ft (5-mt) ceiling floats in a swirling trompe l'oeil sky making a stunning canopy for a business or social event. Located on the second floor, the Grand Ballroom features beige walls and antique celadon chandeliers. Architectural details such as a bevelled mirror and custom-made chandeliers create the refined European atmosphere that is synonymous with The Pierre. The maximum room capacity ranges from 60 U-Shape to 1500 Reception Style. Breakout and pre-function space is available in the Garden Foyer.

The 4,050-sq-ft (376-sq-mt) Cotillion Room features spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Central Park and Fifth Avenue. The Cotillion Room is embellished with marble floors, antique chandeliers and walls covered in pale yellow and ivory. It is located on the first floor and has dramatic staircases suitable for a grand entrance. The maximum room capacity ranges from 60 U-Shape to 500 Reception Style. Breakout and pre-function space is available in the Regency Room.

The Regency Suite measures 960 sq ft (89 sq mts). Located on the second floor it overlooks 61st Street between Madison and 5th avenues. Its décor features mahogany wood panelling and painted decorative panels. The maximum room capacity ranges from 30 Hollow Sq 60 U-shape to 250 Reception style.

The 2,385-sq-ft (222-sq-mt) Wedgwood Room, a multi-purpose room with a classic Wedgwood blue and white design, is located at the lower lobby level. It offers an intimate space for smaller parties. Hand painted murals adorn the walls. Breakout and pre-function space is available in the Salon. The maximum room capacity ranges from 60 Hollow Sq to 300 Reception Style.

The Garden Foyer offers 2,756 sq ft (257 sq mts) of space and is used as a pre-function room for the Grand Ballroom. Located on the second floor, the Garden Foyer has no external view. Its décor features hand-painted murals from Versailles on all walls, as well as antique chandeliers. The maximum room capacity ranges from 50 Classroom Style to 400 Reception Style.

The 560 sq ft (52 sq mts) Salon is a multi-purpose room with a classic Wedgwood blue and white design. It is located on the lower lobby level and is used as a pre-function area for the Wedgwood Room. The maximum room capacity ranges from 20 U-shape to 75 reception style.
